Get back into the workd of gambling debauchery with Netflix's new spinoff of the Kakegurui world

A trailer and key visual have been made available. The ending theme song, "Queens Bluff," by female idol group iRis, is also featured in the trailer.

Kakegurui Twin is a prequel to Homura Kawamoto's original Kakegurui manga, set a year before Yumeko Jabami arrives at Hyakkaou Private Academy, where the school hierarchy is determined by gambling. Yumeko's classmate, Mary Saotome, is the focus of the story.

Kakegurui was adapted into a TV anime in 2017, with a second season following in 2019. It also spawned a live-action TV show and a film.

Mappa, who previously animated the Kakegurui anime, has returned for Kakegurui Twin. Minami Tanaka, who plays Mary Saotome, has also returned.

Kakegurui Twin will be available exclusively on Netflix beginning August 4, 2022.
