On Thursday, manga creator Ysuke Murata announced on his Twitter account that his and ONE's One-Punch Man manga will take a month off before returning with a new arc. The return date will be announced as soon as it is determined by the staff.
Viz Media is publishing the series in print as well as digitally in its Weekly Shonen Jump manga anthology.
In 2012, Ysuke Murata and ONE debuted the One-Punch Man manga on Shueisha's free "Tonari no Young Jump" website. The series is a remake of the same-named web manga by ONE. On June 3, Shueisha released the manga's 26th compiled book volume. In October 2021, Viz Media released the manga's 23rd volume.
From October to December 2015, the first season of the manga's anime adaptation aired in Japan. Viz Media and Daisuki both streamed the series as it aired outside of Japan. In July 2016, the anime debuted with an English dub on Adult Swim's Toonami block. In North America, Viz Media released the first season on home video.
