This year's October issue of Hakusensha's Melody magazine revealed on Friday that Maki Minami's new manga titled Hisureba, Hana (If You Keep It Secret, Flower) will launch in the magazine's next issue on October 28. The first pages will be in color.

The manga is a survival story about the ups and downs of the entertainment industry. A beautiful actress has a secret that she cannot tell anyone.

As a part of Melody's 25th anniversary, Minami and Marimo Ragawa are each releasing a brand-new manga.

In the Hana to Yume magazine from Hakusensha, Minami started her Komomo Confiserie manga story in 2013. The series finished in December 2014. The fifth and final book was made available by Viz Media in September 2016. 2013 saw the conclusion of Minami's Seiy ka—! manga in the same publication. In August 2015, the series' 12th and final volume was released by Viz Media under the title Voice Over!: Seiyuu Academy. The S.A (Special A) manga by Minami was also released by Viz Media in North America.
