- 8 Years!! Daang now thats what I call a break!-
Kagami Yoshimizu's Lucky Star comedy manga will reappear in Kadokawa's Mitaina! magazine, according to Doujin circle C2 Kikan. The third edition of the magazine, which will be published on November 10, 2022, will mark the start of the series.
Yoshimizu had first suspended the Lucky Star manga in May 2014 in order to concentrate on creating other projects, such as the original TV anime Maesetsu! The comeback comes eight years after the final chapter was released.
Viz Media acquired the digital licensing rights for the manga in English for North America. The series is described as:
What’s the best way to eat dessert? Do twins really have a psychic connection? What kind of guys are into moe girls? These are the kinds of questions that float through the inquisitive mind of anime super-fan Konata Izumi. When she’s not lost in her favorite manga or logging hours in one of her online games, she’s debating the mysteries of the universe with the best friends a girl could ask for.
On December 10, 2003, Kadokawa's Comptiq magazine began serializing the manga series. Additionally, it has been briefly discussed in a number of other magazines, including Shounen Ace, Newtype, Comp Ace, Dragon Magazine, Mobile Newtype, and Kadokawa Hotline. As of November 2014, 10 tankoubon volumes had been published.
