On Sunday, a promo video for the second season of the television anime adaptation of Satoshi Mizukami's Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer (Hoshi no Samidare) manga went live on the site (quarter of a year). Raon will play the new opening theme song "BE the HERO" for the second portion, while Sano ibuki will perform the new ending theme song "ZERO," according to the website. The video teases the opening theme:
The animation is directed by Nobuaki Nakanishi (Koihime Mus, Mahjin Guru Guru, Kasimasi - Girl Meets Girl). Together with Yichir Momose (My First Girlfriend is a Gal, Infinite Dendrogram, So I'm a Spider, So What? ), the original author Mizukami is credited with creating the series. The series is being animated by NAZ, with production assistance from Jumondo. Character design is done by Hajime Hatakeyama (animation director of No Guns Life, Sing "Yesterday" for Me), while the soundtrack is done by Takatsugu Wakabayashi (Majin Bone, PriPri Chii-chan!!). Additionally employed are Yuichi Imaizumi, the sound director at Sonilude, Rysuke Araki, the color designer, Toshikazu Kuno, the director of photography, and Minoru Okochi, the art director. Yasuyuki Konno is in charge of the sound effects, and Rina Koguchi is in charge of editing.
Mizukami has said earlier that the anime will cover the entire manga "until the end."
