Sega's upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog game, Sonic Frontiers, was shown off in a new trailer on Tuesday at the Gamescom event's Opening Night Live livestream. The game will be released on November 8 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Story, exploration, and battle are all previews in the video:

Sonic Frontiers Prologue, an animated prologue featuring Knuckles, will also be included in the game.

The most recent main Sonic Mania game was released in August 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

A new compilation of Sonic the Hedgehog titles called Sonic Origins was released for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. on June 23 via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
