Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter manga will return on October 23 according to an announcement made by Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump and Viz Media's Shonen Jump. It will get a simultaneous publication on Viz Media's Shonen Jump.

The availability of English-language digital copies of Hunter x Hunter Chapters 1-390 on Shonen Jump was also announced by Viz Media.



Since November 2018, the Hunter x Hunter manga series has been on a protracted break. The comic was originally brought back by Togashi in September 2018. The most recent extended breaks for the series were in April 2018 and September 2017.

On March 16, 1998, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine published the debut issue of Hunter x Hunter. It served as the basis for two animated television shows, several original anime video games, and anime movies. As of May 24, 2022, 36 tankoubon volumes totaling 380 chapters had been released. The series is made available in North America by Viz Media in English.

The second television anime series premiered in Japan on October 2, 2011 to September 24, 2014 for 148 episodes. Madhouse was in charge of animation production for the second series adaptation, as It retold the original manga’s story from the beginning. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
