The two Gundam Evolution free-to-play shooter game trailers that Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe started broadcasting on Tuesday indicate that the game will debut on Steam on September 21 and on platforms in North America on November 30. It will debut on Steam in Asia and Europe on September 22, and on consoles (exclusively for Japan) on December 1.

In North America, Europe, and Japan, the game will be released for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. A portion of Asia will also see the PC release of the game. It will be possible to purchase the game on Steam in North America and Europe.

 The game is a free-to-play cooperative first-person shooter with 6v6 PvP action and "real-world purchaseable" "EVO Coin" cash. The ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos and the RX-78-2 Gundam are just two of the 12 playable units that will be included. Players can acquire "Capital Points" in addition to "EVO Coins" through gameplay, which they can spend to unlock mobile costumes and cosmetics. Three game modes—Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction—will be available.

In July 2021, Mobile Suit Gundam: Senj no Kizuna II, an arcade game, was released by Bandai Namco Amusement. On November 30, the firm discontinued the arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam: Senj no Kizuna (Mobile Suit Gundam: Bonds of the Battlefield).

On November 5, the first volume of Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy, which contains episodes 1–5, was made available digitally for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. On November 19th and December 3rd, the second and third volumes, respectively, were released. A volume has five episodes in it. Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 served as the inspiration for the single-player action game.
