A teaser image and details about the primary cast and production company for the anime adaptation of Farming Life in Another World have been released. It was also made known that the film will make its debut in January 2023.

The 13th book of Farming Life in Another World, which premiered on August 30, 2022, was first published in 2017. The series is written by Kinosuke Naito and is published by Kadokawa. In 2016, the narrative debuted as an online novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou.

2017 saw the start of Yasuyuki Tsurugi's manga adaptation, which is also distributed by Kadokawa. Under the name Dragon Comics Age, it is serialized in Monthly Dragon Age.
