On August 9, the official Twitter account for Nihonbungeisha's Comic Heaven magazine announced that the magazine will transition to a monthly schedule beginning in March 2023, in honor of its tenth anniversary. Nihonbungeisha published the manga as a bimonthly (every two months) magazine in August 2012.
The seinen magazine is a supplement to Nihonbungeisha's Weekly Manga Goraku magazine, and each even-numbered month, a new issue is published. It is the successor to the Weekly Manga Goraku supplement magazine Sakura Hearts. This supplement debuted in 2010, with a bimonthly schedule similar to Comic Heaven, and featured moe-themed series. Sakura Hearts concluded in April 2012, and Comic Heaven debuted in August of that year.
Since December 2019, the magazine has been serializing an ongoing manga adaptation of the Azur Lane anime.
