The Bocchi the Rock! anime's October 8 Japanese release date has been made public. The anime also got its first trailer and a main visual in the style of a movie showing its four main characters singing.

The manga by Aki Hamaji, which debuted in 2018 and will publish its fourth tankoubon volume on August 26, 2022, served as the inspiration for Bocchi The Rock! It is released as Manga Time KR Comics and is serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max magazine. Hitori, a lonesome and friendless young woman who enjoys playing the guitar and does it on her own for six hours each day, is the focus of the narrative. When she finds herself joining a band lead by drummer Nijika, everything changes.
