A teaser image with the main cast of the anime version of Ayakashi Triangle has been released. A January 2023 release date was disclosed along with the visual's release.

According to Seven Seas Entertainment, the story is:

As an exorcist ninja, Matsuri Kazamaki's livelihood depends on expelling the ayakashi ghosts that threaten people. Suzu Kanade, a friend from childhood, has been drawing ayakashi with ease, therefore he has been shielding her from the light for years. What will happen when Suzu comes across a being that appears to be a regular cat but is actually Shirogane, the ruler of the ayakashi?

The "ayakashi love fantasy" comic by To-Love Ru and Black Cat creator Kentarou Yabuki served as the inspiration for Ayakashi Triangle.
