Amidst all the stress of 2020, I think one of the things we can all agree on is that we need a good laugh. With that in mind crowdfunding company Anime Fund  Gekijōban Seitokai Yakuindomo 2 This will be the second film based on the dirty joke laden  Seitokai Yakuindomo manga created by Tozen Ujiie The campaign launched on November 4^th,  and is slated to end on November 30^th 2020 and aims to garner 1,919 backers as well as 10 million yen (US$95,550.00 approximately). The backing is limited to Japan and the rewards for backing include and are not limited to; having your name listed in the film credits, receiving a key animation frame image as well as whistles, T-shirts, Student ID-Card cases, stickers, storyboard collection and a variety of other merchandise.

Covid Strikes again!

In July the production committee for the film announced that due to the new Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) that they had delayed the film’s opening. The film is now slated to open in Japanese theatres on January 1^st , 2021.

Seitokai Yakuindomo centers around Ōsai Academy, a former all-girls private high school that was changed to unisex to include boys (cause why not). The student body is split between 524 girls and 28 boys. Takatoshi Tsuda is pushed into becoming the vice president of the student council, where he is the lone male member surrounded by girls.(where you can imagine shenanigans ensue add it to your watch list!)
